Ship Machinery: Propulsion & Auxiliary Systems

Ship machinery broadly falls into two main categories: Main Propulsion (to move the ship) and Auxiliary Machinery (to support all other operations).

We specialize in supplying high-performance, quality-controlled reconditioned and second-hand machinery from both of these vital sectors.

Main Propulsion Systems (The Powerhouse)

The main propulsion system is responsible for converting fuel energy into the thrust needed to move the vessel through water.

Component / System Function Our Stock Focus
Main Engine The prime mover that drives the propeller. Primarily large 2-Stroke (direct drive, slow speed) or 4-Stroke (via gearbox, medium speed) Diesel Engines. Complete Engine Units, Crankshafts, Cylinder Blocks, Pistons, Liners, and all associated large internal parts.
Propeller Converts the engine's rotary motion into thrust (push). Fixed Pitch and Controllable Pitch Propellers (CPP) units.
Shafting System The line of shafts connecting the main engine to the propeller, supported by bearings. Propeller Shafts, Intermediate Shafts, Thrust Blocks, and Bearings.
